Frequently asked questions Hide FAQs
Are the Tech 7 Enduro Drystar® Boots waterproof?
Yes. The Tech 7 Enduro Drystar® Boots have an integrated waterproof, breathable Drystar® membrane for wet-weather riding. An extended microfiber gaiter helps limit water and dirt ingress, while PU-reinforced upper panels add water resistance and durability.
How should I choose my size for the Tech 7 Enduro Drystar® Boots in Black Gray?
The Black Gray variant is listed in US footwear sizes 5–16. Compare your measurements with the Alpinestars footwear size guide and check the fit with your intended riding socks rather than assuming the same size as your everyday shoes.
Self-aligning quick-release buckles and an adjustable hook-and-loop upper closure let you refine the fit around the leg. When trying the boots on, check for a secure fit without painful pressure points and confirm that you can operate the bike controls.
What CE certification and ankle protection do the Tech 7 Enduro Drystar® Boots provide?
The Tech 7 Enduro Drystar® Boots are CE-certified to EN 13634:2017. Their TPU lateral ankle protection incorporates a biomechanical pivot to support ankle stability while allowing controlled flex.
Additional protection includes a TPU shin plate, a reinforced TPU lower shell with a metal shank and toe reinforcement, and a medial TPU panel for heat and abrasion resistance. Instep and Achilles accordion zones support movement at the controls.
Are the Tech 7 Enduro Drystar® Boots designed for technical trail riding?
Yes. These boots are specifically engineered for enduro and off-road riding. Their Enduro-specific, double-density rubber outsole combines a high-grip tread pattern for mixed terrain with a high-rigidity structural base for support.
The biomechanical pivot and accordion flex zones support controlled movement, while the contoured chassis and medial grip panel help maintain contact and feel at the bike controls.
Can the soles and buckles on the Tech 7 Enduro Drystar® Boots be replaced?
Yes. The Enduro-specific outsole, footpeg-contact section and buckles are replaceable. This allows worn components to be renewed rather than replacing the entire boot solely because those parts have worn out.
Confirm replacement-part compatibility with the Tech 7 Enduro Drystar® model before purchasing parts or arranging a repair.
