The Missile V3 Leather Jacket has a race fit with pre-curved arms shaped for the riding position. Technical stretch panels across the chest, upper back, inner arms, armpits, and waist support movement. The Black Black version is offered in men’s sizes 44–62.
Compare your measurements with the Alpinestars size guide and check the fit in your riding position with your intended layers. If using a Tech-Air® system, follow that system’s fit and clearance requirements rather than automatically choosing a larger jacket size.
What CE rating and armor does the Missile V3 Leather Jacket have?
The Missile V3 Leather Jacket is CE-certified to EN 17092-3:2020, AA Class. It includes Nucleon PLASMA Pro shoulder and elbow armor certified to EN 1621-1:2012 Level 2, plus seamless DFS external TPU shoulder protectors and a bovine race leather shell.
Chest and back protection inserts are not included. Internal compartments accommodate optional Nucleon divided chest and back protectors, available as accessory upgrades.
Which Tech-Air® airbag systems are compatible with the Missile V3 Leather Jacket?
The Missile V3 Leather Jacket is Tech-Air® Ready and compatible with the Tech-Air® 7x Airbag System. Its listed compatible systems also include Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA, Tech-Air® 5, and Tech-Air® 3 V2.
Tech-Air® Ready describes compatibility, not an included airbag system. Follow the selected system’s instructions for installation, fit, and deployment clearance.
Is the Missile V3 Leather Jacket waterproof?
The Missile V3 Leather Jacket has a waterproof inner compartment, but the jacket itself is not specified as waterproof. Its leather construction includes localized perforations for airflow, and no waterproof garment membrane is listed. The waterproof storage compartment should not be treated as whole-jacket rain protection.
Does the Missile V3 Leather Jacket have ventilation and a removable thermal liner?
Yes. Localized perforations on the lower front, back, and sleeves provide cooling airflow, while a fixed mesh liner supports comfort. The detachable thermal liner has 80 g insulation in the body and 60 g in the sleeves for cooler rides.
