The shield is constructed from high-quality, impact-resistant polycarbonate, with a 98% PC and 2% synthetic composition.
A Dark Smoke warm-colored tint is integrated into the shield material as part of the one-piece visor construction.
The shield uses an injection-molded build to maintain a precise optical surface and consistent material structure.
Its geometry is precisely engineered to support accurate light direction through the visor across changing viewing angles.
This shield is built in the Gen 2 (.02) format used on the standard S-R7 helmet shield system.
When fitted to an S-R10 helmet, the construction requires the corresponding Gen 2 tear-offs and Gen 2 Pinlock® lens components, if used.
