SP-X BOA-stövlarna är en slimmad sportstövel som är designad för att bäras under tekniska motorcykelbyxor och ge överlägsen gångkomfort. Optimerade för sport- och sporttouring-förare är SP-X BOA-stövlarna kompakta, mellanhöga stövlar med premiumnivåer av skydd och komfort både på och av motorcykeln. Ovandelen är konstruerad av en kombination av avancerad mikrofiber, ultrasoft Rideknit®-material och stickad mesh, samt sömlösa termosvetsade partier. Den nedre delen har en TPU-hälkappa, tåslider och Alpinestars TPF (Transversal Protection Frame) i sulan, vilket ger höga nivåer av skydd mot stötar och mot böjning eller vridning. Dessutom har sulan en helt ny design med en asymmetrisk bakhäl som underlättar förarens naturliga steg och främjar stabilitet vid gång.
För skydd har SP-X BOA-stövlarna ett integrerat skenbensskydd, dubbeldensitets ankelplattor samt förstärkning med TPU-växelplatta och tåslider. För komfort ger de stickade zonerna vid fram- och bakre flexpunkterna stor rörelsefrihet, medan PU-mellansulan med integrerad, dubbeldämpad häl och en avtagbar OrthoLite®-innersula ger utmärkt gångkomfort. På- och avtagning underlättas av en medial dragkedja i kombination med BOA-snabbsnörningssystemet för en kompakt och exakt stängning. SP-X BOA-stövlarna är perfekta för sportförare som vill ha täckning och skydd utan en full racerstövel – och en över-byxan-look.

How should I choose my size for the SP-X BOA® Boots, and how is the fit adjusted?
The SP-X BOA® Boots in Black Black are listed in EU sizes 36–48. Compare your measurements with the Alpinestars footwear size guide and check the fit with your intended riding socks rather than assuming your usual casual-shoe size.
The side BOA® Fit System provides precise closure adjustment, while the medial zip facilitates entry and exit. These features refine the fit but do not replace correct size selection.
Are the SP-X BOA® Boots waterproof or ventilated?
The SP-X BOA® Boots are listed as ventilated footwear. Their upper combines advanced microfiber, ultra-soft Rideknit® material and knitted mesh.
No waterproof membrane or waterproof rating is specified for this model, so it should not be treated as waterproof footwear when choosing boots for wet-weather riding.
What CE certification and protection do the SP-X BOA® Boots provide?
The SP-X BOA® Boots are CE-certified to EN 13634:2017, the standard for protective motorcycle footwear. Their protection package includes an integrated shin impact protector, internal dual-density ankle protection, a TPU heel counter, shift pad and reinforced toe slider.
The sole incorporates Alpinestars’ TPF Transversal Protection Frame to help protect against impacts and excessive bending or twisting. The supplied specifications do not state the individual numerical EN 13634 performance levels.
Do the SP-X BOA® Boots fit under motorcycle riding pants?
Yes. The SP-X BOA® Boots have a compact, mid-height profile designed to fit under technical riding pants. Their streamlined upper and compact closure suit sport and sport-touring riders who want boot coverage without a full-height race boot.
Check that your riding pants’ lower-leg opening accommodates the boots comfortably, particularly when seated on the motorcycle.
Are the SP-X BOA® Boots designed for walking as well as sport-touring rides?
Yes. The SP-X BOA® Boots are designed for road sport and sport-touring use with walking-focused features. The rubber sole has a walking roll and asymmetric rear heel to support a natural stride and off-bike stability.
An integrated PU heel midsole and dual heel cushion pads provide cushioning, while knitted front and rear flex areas support freedom of movement on and off the bike.
