Riding Modes & LED Display:

LED Display indicates operational status and triggers haptic alerts:
- Short (1 sec) vibration = armed.
- Long (3 sec) vibration = system off or error (red Status LED).

- Extended Coverage: Cut longer at the rear for enhanced coverage and protection, with a contoured, low-cut neck for reduced material contact with skin for added comfort.

- CE-Certified Protection:
- The Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA System and all the included protective parts are Category II certified PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) under European Regulation (UE) 2016/425 and in compliance under corresponding UK legislation.
- The passive back-protector is CE certified according to the EN1621-2:2014 Level 1 (Full Back).
- The inflatable protector is CE certified according to EN 1621-4:2013 Level 1 (Full Back).
- The System is CE certified as a protective garment for motorcycle riders according to the EN 17092-6:2020 as a Class C undergarment.
- Airbag Deployments: The airbag is certified for up to six deployments before requiring replacement.
Due to regulations for transport of dangerous goods by air (IATA) and road (ADR), consumers are not permitted to ship Tech-Air® products themselves for return or servicing. In the event of a return or service request you must therefore deliver the goods in person to one of our Tech-Air® Hubs. Please ensure you first contact our Customer Care team to receive confirmation of the correct Hub and approval before visiting.

Engineered for an ultra-light weight, superior comfort and an ‘invisible’ profile, the state-of-the-art Tech- Air® 5 PLASMA provides comprehensive upper body coverage, chest, ribs, back, and shoulders, and is equipped with a PLASMA back protector for the optimum blend of comfort, flexibility, airflow and protection. With a new dedicated algorithm with three modes, STREET, ADVENTURE and RACE, the Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA is a single charge deployment airbag system, and its gas canister is replaceable by the user.

Activation Zip with Haptic Feedback
When the activation zip has been fully zipped to the top, the system will automatically turn on. A haptic feedback vibration will indicate that the system is on.
LED Display Riding Modes
The Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA Airbag System offers three possible Riding Modes: STREET, OFF-ROAD and RACE. After the System has been correctly switched on, the User can easily switch between the three different Riding Modes by pressing the System Button for 2 seconds. A SOLID GREEN LED will appear on the Riding Mode LED indicating which Riding Mode is currently running. Cycle through the modes until the desired mode is selected.
The Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA Airbag System’s LED button can be used to check the system’s status. Simply press the button; a vibration indicates the system is functioning correctly.
Street Mode
Optimized for asphalt roads including situations in which the rider's motorcycle is hit by another vehicle while stopped.
Race Mode
Designed for any type of closed course track use
Off-Road Mode
Allows adventure riders to push the envelope and capabilities of performance off-road riding even further while being protected.
Ultra-Lightweight and Slim Contruction
Weighing just 1,530g, the Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA is more than 25% lighter than the Tech-Air® 5, making it the lightest Tech-Air® System to date. With its ultra-slim, minimal material construction, the System fits discretly and invisible under a jacket, enhancing rider comfort and wearability without restricting movement.
Ultra-thin with Maximum Airflow
The ultra-thin, mono-layer stretch mesh chassis is engineered to follow the shape of the airbag, reducing the system’s overall material bulk for an ultra-light weight and superior breathability.
Superior Comfort and Breathability: The full-stretch construction is designed for superior breathability, with a moisture-wicking treatment for maximum rider comfort.
User Serviceable
The system operates with an all-new single canister, resulting in a low overall weight AND a faster inflation time, while simultaneously being easier and faster to service.
The quick release cover is attached to the chassis with a Velcro Hook and Loop patch for ease of use; simply insert a finger into the recess and lift the cover to detach it.

Bluetooth Connectivity
Bluetooth connectivity to a Tech-Air® App allows monitoring of both the System's operational status and battery status, and mapping your journey via MyRide.
