How does the GP Force V2 Leather Jacket fit, and which size should I choose?
The GP Force V2 Leather Jacket has a sport fit designed for road riding on sport and naked bikes. Its soft bovine leather construction, HRSF stretch panels, pre-curved elbows and waist adjustment flaps support movement and fit in the riding position.
The Black Black variant is offered in men's sizes 46–58, in two-size increments. Compare your measurements with the Alpinestars size guide and check the fit with your intended riding layers. If using a compatible Tech-Air® system, follow its fitting and deployment-clearance instructions.
What CE rating and armor does the GP Force V2 Leather Jacket have?
The GP Force V2 is a fully CE-certified Category II riding garment to EN 17092, Class AA. It includes Nucleon Flex Plus Level 1 shoulder protectors, Nucleon PLASMA Plus Level 1 elbow protectors and GP Lite Evo DFS external shoulder shields. Class AA is the garment classification, distinct from the impact protectors' Level 1 rating.
Chest and back protector inserts are optional upgrades, not included. The jacket has compartments for Alpinestars divided chest protectors and long or regular back protector inserts.
Which Tech-Air® airbag systems are compatible with the GP Force V2 Leather Jacket?
The GP Force V2 Leather Jacket is listed as compatible with the Tech-Air® 5 Plasma System, Tech-Air® 5 System and Tech-Air® 3 V2 System. Strategically positioned accordion stretch inserts accommodate airbag expansion.
Tech-Air® Ready indicates compatibility, not that an airbag system is included. Follow the selected system's sizing, fitting and deployment-space requirements when choosing and adjusting the jacket.
Is the GP Force V2 Leather Jacket waterproof for riding in the rain?
The GP Force V2 is not a waterproof riding jacket. Its waterproof inner pocket protects stored essentials, but does not provide rain protection for the rider.
For wet-weather riding, use a separate waterproof motorcycle rain layer sized to fit over the jacket and any compatible airbag system, following that system's clearance instructions.
Does the GP Force V2 Leather Jacket have ventilation and a removable thermal liner?
Yes. The GP Force V2 has zippered side vents for direct cooling airflow and a detachable 80 g thermal vest for added warmth in cooler conditions.
Remove the vest and open the vents when more airflow is needed, or refit the vest for additional torso insulation. These features help adapt the jacket to changing temperatures; the thermal layer is a vest rather than a full-sleeve liner.
